Makeup and Hair Class Supplies and Schedule for Stage Makeup
Hello everyone, our dance school will organize makeup and hair classes for standard level 1 classes to help the children and the mums to prepare stage makeup for the performance on January 19 and June 15. Below are the details.
Important Information
All mums need to bring your makeup supplies to the studio on the day of the makeup class. Under the guidance of the teacher, mums will learn and practice how to put on stage makeup for their children step by step. Please refer to the fourth part of this page for the makeup class schedule.
- We suggest new students to prepare a cosmetic bag and put all the items in it. It is more convinent to bring your make up stuff to the theater during the performance.
- It is also convenient to keep your items, which will also be used for next year's performances.It is recommended to choose a small size when purchasing supplies if you or your child do not need makeup often.
- All the supplies can be found in stores like Superstore, Winners, London Drugs, Shoppers, etc.
Stage Makeup Photo
The pictures below are the stage makeup photos. The only difference is that due to the different colors of the costumes, the eye shadow colors of each class are different. The teacher will determine one or two colors of eye shadow for each class according to the color of the costumes, please refer to the fourth part below for the color of eye shadow in each class.
List of essential supplies for makeup and hair classes
- Supplies Needed for Hair:
- Comb.
- Hair ties.
- Hair spray.
- Hair net.
- Various pins: bobby pins, hair pins, and snap clips.
- Supplies needed for makeup:
- Foundation (one shade lighter than your skin color).
- Sponge or beautyblender for foundation.
- Eyebrow pencil with eyebrow brush. Dark brown.
- Eye shadow palette (the color of eyeshadow for each group is decided by their costumes. Please check the next section for eyeshadow).
- Glitter, as shown in the picture below.
- Brush set(the picture is a complete set of makeup brushes. No need to prepare the ones that are crossed).
- Black eyeliner pencil or liquid eyeliner.
- Mascara (black).
- False eyelashes and false eyelashes glue.
- Blush (pink).
- Contouring and highlighting.
- lipstick (red).
- Setting powder or setting spray.
Makeup and Hair Class Schedule and Eyeshadow Color
- The color of the eyeshadow is determined according to the costume of the performance, so the eyeshadow color required varies from year to year. If you come across a suitable multi-color eyeshadow palette, you can prepare one in advance.
- The color for each group below is a suggestion. If you have similar color on your multi-color eyeshadow, you do not have to buy a new one.
Ballet
- B101-1: Dec. 18th, Wednesday, 4:30-5:20pm, yellow and pink.
- B101-2: Dec. 19th, Thursday, 6-6:50pm, red and dark pink.
- B101-3: Dec. 14th, Saturday, 1:10-2pm, pink and yellow.
- B103-1: Dec. 14th, Saturday, 10:30-11:50am, light brown and dark brown.
- B201-2: Dec. 14th, Saturday, 12:30-1:20pm, orange and red.
KPOP
- K104: Dec. 15th, Sunday, 12:10-1pm, teacher Michelle will communicate with the students directly.
- K02: Dec. 15th, Sunday, 1:10-2:30pm, teacher Michelle will communicate with the students directly.
Latin
- L104: Dec. 17th, Friday, 6:30-7:50pm, teacher Tracy will communicate with the students directly.

- P02: Dec. 14th, Saturday, 12:10-1pm, light pink and dark pink.
Chinese Dance Standard Level
